Langbeinite is a mineral compound that contributes potassium, magnesium, and sulfur. Langbeinite is usually referred to by its trade names "K-Mag" or "Sul-po-mag".

It's used only when both potassium and magnesium are needed, and should be used to fulfill the smaller of the two deficits to avoid overapplication of the other.

It's a more efficient amendment than using Epsom salt and Potassium sulfate separately because it contributes less sulfur, reducing the osmotic stress.
